Varga stays with Bhoys after signing new deal

CELTIC defender Stanislav Varga has signed a new two-year deal with the Parkhead club.

The Slovakian international joined the Hoops in February as a free agent following a trial spell after he became surplus to requirements at relegation-bound Sunderland.

The giant centre-half was picked just twice for the first team by manager Martin O'Neill Scottish Cup defeat at Inverness and the final day win at Kilmarnock.
