Foxes snap up Gudjonsson

LEICESTER CITY manager Micky Adams has swooped to sign Icelandic international midfielder Joey Gudjonsson on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old has signed a two-year contract having reached the end of his contract with La Liga side Real Betis.

He has 17 caps and made 16 appearances for Wolves while on a season-long loan during 2003-04.

He also made 11 appearances and scored two goals while on loan at Aston Villa during 2002-03.

Henri Camara will sign a £1.5m loan move to Celtic within the next 24 hours. The Wolves striker is due at Parkhead for talks and a medical after both clubs agreed terms.

The Senegal hitman has refused to play for Wolves after they were relegated from the Premiership last season, claiming his international career would suffer.
