Carlos denies paper rumours

Roberto Carlos has brushed aside newspaper reports which claimed he wanted to leave Real Madrid.

The attacking full-back was left out of the side which won at Racing Santander on Saturday, leading to speculation that he was set to ask for a transfer.

But the Brazilian was quick to make it clear yesterday that he was happy at the Bernabeu and intended to see out the three-year contract extension he signed in the summer.
