Hiddink angers Moyes

EVERTON manager David Moyes has described as “incredible” claims by Australia coach Guus Hiddink that the Scot wants Tim Cahill to miss a friendly because of the club’s bad start to the season.

Hiddink angers Moyes

Moyes wanted the midfielder to miss tomorrow's match against Jamaica at Craven Cottage altogether but, having failed to get Hiddink's agreement, has refused to release him until the last minute under FIFA rules players have until two days before a match to report for duty.

That drew a withering response from Hiddink, who observed that "with Everton bottom of the English Premier League, they are obviously looking for reasons to keep him at home."
