Buck up or else, angry Benitez warns Liverpool

ANGRY Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has turned on his under-achieving players and warned he will not accept any more below-par performances.

This is the second time since the new year that Benitez has felt the need to lay down the law. The first followed the dismal three defeats in a week - including the FA Cup exit at Burnley - and now the Anfield chief admits there has been another no-holds-barred meeting after the defeat at Birmingham on Saturday.

Liverpool have a Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen next Tuesday followed by the Carling Cup final in Cardiff against Chelsea and Benitez has spelt out what he expects from his players.
