Souness keeps faith in Kluivert

PATRICK KLUIVERT will be given another chance to prove himself at Newcastle - after manager Graeme Souness revealed a bid for the striker has been rejected.

The 28-year-old will be in the starting line-up for tomorrow night's UEFA Cup first-leg clash away to Dutch side Heerenveen.

The Dutch striker is yet to make an impression on Tyneside, and his future at the club is uncertain, much like fellow strikers Alan Shearer and Craig Bellamy.
