Arsenal: an apology
I am referring of course to the mighty Arsenal, or the club formerly known as the misfiring Gunners. And when I say formerly, I am speaking of as long ago as, oh, February.
You may have noticed since the victories over Real Madrid and Juventus, that well-known punditry double-act, All and Sundry, have been falling over themselves to acclaim Arsene Wenger’s men, rather in the style of advanced exponents of simulation (something at which the villainous Chelsea are experts, while the saintly Gunners remain blemish-free, of course).
