Celtic report £7.5m loss

Martin O’Neill lost Henrik Larsson and three other players at the end of last season and the only arrival at Parkhead was striker Henri Camara on loan from Wolves.

But extended contracts for Jackie McNamara, Alan Thompson, Chris Sutton and Stanislav Varga plus deals for young first-teamers like David Marshall and Aiden McGeady have resulted in a 19.2% increase in operating expenses and a £7.47m loss.
