Leeds’ summer sale almost over: Krasner

LEEDS chairman Gerald Krasner insists the end of the Elland Road fire-sale is imminent.

Leeds’ summer sale almost over: Krasner

Krasner has promised supporters the ‘For Sale’ signs will come down for good once the remaining big earners have left this summer.

Mark Viduka, Dominic Matteo, Danny Mills and Michael Duberry are all due to move on and cut Leeds’ annual wage bill by a further £10million in the process. Viduka is in talks with Middlesboro while Matteo has been told to drop his wage demands by Blackburn.

But Krasner remains adamant young stars like James Milner will not also be leaving.

With boss Kevin Blackwell on holiday, neither does Krasner expect any more imminent arrivals to add to Paul Butler and Julian Joachim’s moves north last week.
