Ferguson admits to row with Keane

ALEX FERGUSON has admitted he did have a row with skipper Roy Keane at Manchester United’s pre-season training camp in Portugal last month.

The pair are believed to have had a bust-up over Ferguson’s decision to invite family members to United’s base in the Algarve, with Keane believing the trip should have been for players only.

It was claimed in some quarters that Keane was omitted from the Red Devils’ Far East tour squad for his outburst. Ferguson has vehemently refuted that claim, and insisted the row was of no more significance than many others he has had down the years with his talisman.
