Ronaldinho top of world as Henry second again

THIERRY HENRY put on a brave face after once again losing out in the FIFA World Player of the Year award as Barcelona’s flamboyant Brazilian attacker Ronaldinho took the honour.

Arsenal's French striker Henry easily beat Andriy Shevchenko, who finished third, but perhaps paid the price for an unexceptional Euro 2004.

Henry said: "If you do not win you cannot say you are happy but the other two are tremendous players. When you see what Shevchenko is doing in Serie A and Ronaldinho in Spain, they are the kind of players who make you jump off your seat.
