Rangers ponder Rae appeal

RANGERS will make a decision this morning on any appeal to UEFA over the five-game ban imposed on Alex Rae.

The former Wolves man appeared to kick CSKA Moscow midfielder Serghei Dadu in the head as he challenged for the ball during the Champions League third-qualifying round, first leg in Russia last week.

The incident was not included in the referee Jan Wegereef’s report but UEFA have studied video evidence of the incident to punish Rae.
