Having made a number of first team appearances, scoring against Shamrock Rovers in the final game of the 2002/03 season, Murphy will most likely make his debut in the friendly against Midlands Senior League side Portlaoise AFC tonight at Saint Mel's Park at 7:30pm.
Murphy joins Tom Silke, Niall Donnelly, Graham O'Keefe and Shane O'Brien on manager Aaron Callaghan's new acquisitions list.
