Hartson says McGeady is world-class

CELTIC striker John Hartson believes his side have a world-class prospect in midfielder Aiden McGeady.

The Bhoys crashed out of Europe after they were pipped for third place in their Champions League group by Shakhtar Donetsk and manager Martin O’Neill suggested he needs money to bolster his squad.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding O’Neill’s future and many of the squad approaching the end their careers, Celtic fans have been treated to a glimpse of the future with McGeady’s impressive performances.
