O’Shea sings Rooney’s praises

AFTER sharing a dressing room with Wayne Rooney for 18 months, nothing the England star does comes as a surprise to John O’Shea anymore.

Rooney scored both goals and turned in arguably his finest Manchester United performance in Sunday’s win over Newcastle United.

Yet, as Old Trafford buzzed in wonder, for O’Shea it was just like another day at the office.

“Wayne doesn’t surprise us,” said the Irish international. “We see him in training every day so we know what he can do.

“We know the standards he sets himself.”
