Murphy puts pen to paper on Blues deal

WATERFORD United’s prolific goal scorer Daryl Murphy has committed to the Blues by signing an extension to his current deal.

Murphy, who scored 22 goals for United last season, inked a new deal yesterday, which will keep him at the club until the end of 2006.

“I am delighted Daryl has decided to extend his contract,” said Blues boss Alan Reynolds.
