SHELBOURNE midfielder Stuart Byrne says that Turner's Cross is one of the most difficult venues to eke out a result as the Dubliners prepare for a titanic clash with Cork City in tonight’s Setanta Cup clash (7.15).

In what is expected to be close to a sell-out crowd, Byrne will be hoping his side can manage a good result as the league champions prepare for their third game in six days.

"It's never easy coming to Cork," says Byrne. "We've had some great games with Cork they are a great side. Any time you go down to Cork, it's always difficult the most difficult place in the league, to be honest. They're an excellent side with excellent players and I think the change in management could boost them even more." The Eircom league champions will be anxious to get the draw against Portadown last Wednesday out of their system, a match in which they led twice before drawing.
