James, Johnson dropped

DAVID JAMES and Glen Johnson paid the price for England's "1,000 mistakes" in Copenhagen as they were dropped from the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Northern Ireland.

Chris Kirkland comes into the squad in place of the James, whose international future is now in jeopardy, while there was also a first call-up for Liverpool left-back Stephen Warnock. .
