Bruce hopeful of Kuqi deal

BIRMINGHAM MANAGER Steve Bruce is optimistic of completing the signing of Finland U21 international Njazi Kuqi during the next few days.

Representative of Kuqi’s club FC Lahti are due to fly over for talks regarding a deal of around £250,000 for the striker.

Bruce has been keeping tabs on Kuqi for a lengthy spell and the player has just spent 10 days on trial at the club’s Wast Hills training ground.
