Sainz considers presidency

FORMER world champion rally driver Carlos Sainz is considering standing for the presidency of Real Madrid at the next election in 2008.

A Real fan, the 43-year-old is looking for a new challenge after being at the top of his sport for the last 20 years. He announced his retirement in 2004, but continues to compete in some events.
