Tickets for crunch game sold out

TICKETS for Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against France in Paris on Saturday are sold out. Airlines and ferries all report heavy booking and for most people it’ll be the first time seeing Ireland play in front of 80,000 people.

According to the Irish Travel Agents’ Association, the numbers travelling are unprecedented for a qualifier and many punters may not be guaranteed getting to see the match.

That’s not going to stop the thousands without tickets going to Paris anyway.
