Belgrove 2 Mount Merrion 1
Belgrove get it right in replay

In an enthralling all LSL encounter at Whitehall, Belgrove took the lead on 41 minutes when John Kerr crossed for the unmarked Darren Meade to blast his side in front.

It took Mount Merrion just over a minute to restore parity when Roy Fox floated in a corner which deceived everybody in the penalty area, including goalkeeper Philip White, before entering the net.

Mount Merrion dominated the early exchanges after the interval only for Belgrove to regain the lead through Andrew Brady. He raced in from the left flank to blast Belgrove back in front with what proved to be the decisive strike.
