Lehmann’s £10,000 fine following Phillips feud
Lehmann was charged with improper conduct for throwing the ball at Phillips’ head at the end of the Premiership clash at St Mary’s.
The German, who pleaded guilty to the charge, was also warned as to his future conduct.
Lehmann and Phillips clashed during the game and the German claimed the Saints striker had stood on his hand.
Matters came to a head after the final whistle when Lehmann threw the ball at the back of Phillips’ head and referee Steve Dunn intervened.
Phillips was also charged by the FA but has decided to appeal.
