ARSENAL goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has been fined £10,000 by the Football Association following an incident with Southampton’s Kevin Phillips in December.

Lehmann was charged with improper conduct for throwing the ball at Phillips’ head at the end of the Premiership clash at St Mary’s.

The German, who pleaded guilty to the charge, was also warned as to his future conduct.
