Soccer: Telford and Gillingham the big winners

NON-LEAGUE Telford United and Gillingham provided shocks in the third round of the FA Cup, knocking out Crewe Alexandra and Premiership Charlton Athletic respectively.

Telford were given little chance against Crewe who have been in decent form this Christmas, but the Conference side produced the goods to knock out the First Division side.

A single goal decided the game scored in the first minute by Lee Mills, who headed home from a fine Fitzroy Simpson cross.
