Fans have two words for Zidane’s return

SO Zinedine Zidane is back.

When the news broke on Wednesday, the reaction in this neck of the World Cup woods was mixed. The spiritually inclined tended to bless themselves and most everyone else responded with two words, one of which was ‘oh’.

There is already plenty of debate about whether ZZ is quite the force he was in his prime but, frankly, I’d be happy for him to settle the debate somewhere other than Lansdowne Road on September 7.
