THE FAI board of management will meet again tomorrow in the ongoing feud that is engulfing the association.

Rooney asked not to attend FAI meeting

Legal advice was sought at last Friday’s board of management meeting regarding a letter of complaint from three senior managers in the association, Tadhg O’Halloran, Pat Costello and Peter Buckley, about chief executive Fran Rooney.

The nine-page letter detailed what the trio view as a failure by Rooney to properly implement the Genesis Report as well as other complaints about the way that the association operates.

That advice has now been disclosed to president Milo Corcoran and he has formally called a meeting for tomorrow.

Rooney will once again be told not to attend.
