Yakin signs for VFB Stuttgart

VFB STUTTGART have finalised the signing of Switzerland playmaker Hakan Yakin from FC Basel ahead of their Champions League home clash with Chelsea on February 23.

Yakin, 27, has signed a three-year deal which expires in June 2007. The midfielder cost Stuttgart E2 million.

“Hakan Yakin is a player who has proved his quality for his country and in the Champions League,” coach Felix Magath enthused.
