RYAN GIGGS maintains he is still hungry for success - and refuses to accept Chelsea have left Manchester United behind in English football’s power battle.

Giggs insists he will be around for one last bid to reach a World Cup with Wales - in 2010 - and that United are still expected to win the title regardless of Chelsea’s financial strength.

And he refutes any suggestion he is not first choice at Old Trafford.

“I don’t see it that I am not first choice. I still maintain that if I am playing well I will be in the United team, I have certainly not been told anything different.

“I was out for three games due to sickness earlier in the campaign, and now I have got my match fitness back and believe that if I am playing well I will be in the side.”
