Sanchez hails rejuvenated Gillespie

NORTHERN IRELAND manager Lawrie Sanchez has identified Keith Gillespie’s return to form as a major bonus for the team.

The 30-year-old Sheffield United winger heads into the World Cup qualifier against Austria in Vienna tomorrow re-invigorated.

Gillespie emphasised his new-found confidence at the weekend by finding the target in the defeat by Wales at Windsor Park. It was only his second goal in 66 international appearances but was created and finished off in style after a neat one-two with David Healy.
