Larsson vows to carry on scoring

HENRIK LARSSON has vowed to carry on scoring the goals that earned him a move to Barcelona after being unveiled as the Catalan giants’ third summer signing yesterday.

The former Celtic striker has agreed a one-year deal at the Nou Camp, with the option of a second year, joining fellow new-boys Ludovic Giuly and Juliano Belletti. Larsson scored 240 goals in his seven years in Glasgow and marked his return from international retirement by hitting the target three times for Sweden at Euro 2004.

Now the 33-year-old has, paraded by the club yesterday, has promised Barca fans they can expect more of the same. He said: “I have not come here for a holiday.”
