SCOTLAND players will receive a stg£1m jackpot if they reach the World Cup finals - but will not receive a penny if they fail to qualify.

Manager Berti Vogts has convinced his stars to accept the new deal which sees the customary payments of stg£400-per-point scrapped.

Scottish FA chief executive David Taylor said: “The amount will be more than double what they would have received for qualifying for Euro 2004.”
