The important decisions as to how they go about recruiting a manager for the international team and a top executive to fill the new position of chief executive of the FAI will be taken. And the importance of securing the right person for each job cannot be over-stressed.

This is why it was a surprise that the statement of the president Milo Corcoran that it might take five years to implement the recommendations of the report caused such a hue and cry.
