Balde set to start for Bhoys

CELTIC defender Bobo Bobo is set to end a week of confusion over his future by pulling on the Hoops jersey again this weekend.

Manager Gordon Strachan, who spoke to the 29-year-old after his proposed move to Marseille broke down, has little choice but to name him in central defence when Falkirk visit Parkhead on Saturday.

The Scot only has Stephen McManus, Balde and 18-year-old Darren O’Dea available while Stan Varga, Chris Sutton, Adam Virgo and John Kennedy recover their fitness.

Marseille president Pape Diouf expressed shock at Balde’s change of heart over a projected move.

The Guinean international returned to Glasgow this week after failing to agree terms, leaving Marseille officials stunned.
