ARSENAL’S Martin Keown has defended himself against cheating accusations by Roma boss Fabio Capello as UEFA started to investigate the controversial incident that led to the dismissal of Francesco Totti.

Keown is not facing any official inquiry as yet, but UEFA have confirmed they will review the centre-back’s conduct in Totti’s sending-off at Highbury.

This will form part of a disciplinary hearing scheduled on March 21 to discuss how long Totti, who is automatically banned from his team’s final group game against Ajax two days earlier, should be suspended for.
