Mourinho refutes ‘route one’ claims

JOSE MOURINHO has hit back at Barcelona’s claims that Chelsea are a “long-ball” team.

Mourinho has been wounded by remarks from the Nou Camp that the Spanish champions play beautiful football but their English counterparts take a more direct approach.

He also called on the referee not to be influenced by Barca players trying to win penalties and get his players booked.
