Del Horno backs Blues for clean sweep
The Blues have already claimed eight straight wins in the top flight this season. They are also unbeaten in the Champions League with one win over Anderlecht and a draw with Liverpool in Group G.
Now del Horno, who joined the club in the summer for £8million from Athletic Bilbao, believes his club can win all four major trophies and eclipse Manchester United’s treble-winning feat of 1998/99.
“I think it’s possible for Chelsea to win everything this season,” said the Spanish international. “We’re a team of winners and have an amazing manager who’s a winner too.
“Last season we only lost one Premiership match and one game in Europe. Now I want to go the whole season unbeaten, although that may be too much to ask, but this team is ready to make history by winning everything.”
