ARSENAL fans were already dancing around the Plaza Mayor, celebrating Real Madrid’s first Bernabeu defeat by an English club, when Thierry Henry got around to putting the future - both his and the club’s - into perspective.

On nights like Tuesday, the French man is the supreme communicator, failing to respond only once to journalist’s queries and that because of the Spanish language barrier. It wasn’t the only time at the Bernabeu that he turned to Cesc Fabregas for assistance.
