Are Burton taking the mickey?
Burton's Ryan Austin claimed that the rodents were all over the playing area: "Every time I looked down, I saw a mouse. There were loads of them and I've never seen that before."
United officials have been deluged by calls yesterday demanding an explanation. But while the club insist such occurrences are uncommon, they admit it is not unheard of.
"Like all public places, from time-to-time, we do find mice near or inside the stadium," said a United spokeswoman.
"When they are found they are dealt with, as a matter of course. There is no mice problem at Manchester United."
