O’Neill rejects Spurs job speculation

CELTIC manager Martin O’Neill yesterday erased his name from the list of candidates for the vacant Tottenham manager’s job.

The Irishman was linked with the White Hart Lane position within hours of Glenn Hoddle’s sacking on Sunday night.

O’Neill signed a rolling contract with Celtic last season and he insists he is happy to stay with his Champions League competitors unless chairman Brian Quinn has other ideas.
