Clare tops

The Clare League yesterday captured the Statoil Oscar Traynor Cup when defeating Leinster Senior League 2-1 at Ballycasey in Shannon.

Trailing to a Derek Prendergast goal going into injury-time at the end of the first-half, the home-side equalised through Declan Adams. Substitute Seamie Lawlor headed the winner, one and a half minutes into extra-time.
