Newcastle not giving up on Anelka

NEWCASTLE are refusing to give up their chase for Nicolas Anelka despite reports Fenerbahce have put a £10 million valuation on the striker.

Graeme Souness remains as intent as ever on capturing the French frontman despite the Magpies insisting on a lesser valuation.

Although they have claimed Anelka is not for sale, Fenerbahce officials have been willing to talk with Newcastle chiefs over the projected deal.
