Micoud savages Domenech over squad snub

JOHAN MICOUD has branded France coach Raymond Domenech a “stupid man” for not calling him up for the friendly against Slovakia in Paris next week.

The 32-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form for Werder Bremen, but hasn’t played for France since March 2004.

“By not calling me up, he is playing down my performances... I have not had any contact with him (since) I was playing with the Under-21s. If he cannot see further than that period, it shows his lack of intelligence. He is a stupid man.”
