Alonso fires warning shot at Chelsea

XABI ALONSO has warned Chelsea that Liverpool are coming to get them in the Premiership next season.

The Reds wrecked Jose Mourinho’s dream of the double in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final and now they want to make the step to join Chelsea in serious contention for the league crown.

Alonso said: “We are getting there. We are improving and hopefully next season we can be challenging for the title. This result will inspire confidence.
