O’Leary to make do with £6m until next season

ASTON VILLA manager David O’Leary has revealed that his current £6million transfer fund is all that will be available to him right through to the start of next season.

O’Leary admitted that loan signings and bringing players in on short-term contracts is the policy he has to adopt for the foreseeable future.

Villa go into today’s home match with Norwich on the back of a dismal run of results winning just four points from the last eight games.
