Leverkusen appoint Skibbe

MICHAEL SKIBBE has been named as the new coach of Bayer Leverkusen, becoming the permanent successor to Klaus Augenthaler, who was sacked three weeks ago.

Former Germany coach Rudi Voller was in temporary charge and his input has led to the appointment of his former assistant in the Germany set-up.
