PETER CROUCH faces former club Aston Villa today still searching for his first goal after 13 games for the European champions following his £7million summer transfer to Merseyside.

Crouch was deemed a failure at Aston Villa and was swiftly shipped out by David O'Leary 16 months ago.

But Liverpool sold Milan Baros to Villa Park to finance Crouch's move from Southampton and the 24-year-old is now an England international.
