SFA delay ruling on Rix

HEARTS head coach Graham Rix’s faltering tenure at Tynecastle suffered another setback when the Scottish FA’s General Purposes Committee meeting to assess his suitability for the post was adjourned for the second time.

Rix was a controversial choice to take over from George Burley after being jailed for 12 months in 1999 for having unlawful sex with a 15-year-old girl.

On the field, his start to life in Edinburgh has been less than encouraging with only one win in five matches.
