Everton want Cole on loan

EVERTON manager David Moyes is interested in bringing England midfielder Joe Cole to Goodison Park on loan.

Cole could be on the fringes of the Chelsea squad again next season if, as expected, club owner Roman Abramovich embarks on a fresh round of squad strengthening.

The former West Ham player yesterday insisted he wants to establish himself at Stamford Bridge and on the international scene, but Toffees boss Moyes made it clear he would take Cole on loan if the chance arises.
