Benitez wants to make Zenden a red

MIDDLESBROUGH’S Dutch international Boudewijn Zenden is reportedly a transfer target for Liverpool.

Zenden, 28, who is out of contract in July and would be available on a free transfer, is said to have been contacted by Reds boss Rafael Benitez.

The approach was confirmed by the player's father and agent Pierre.
