Toffees back in survival dogfight, admits Moyes

EVERTON boss David Moyes admits he and his underachieving players are playing for their futures between now and the end of the season.

Everton are back in the relegation dogfight after successive home defeats and face a difficult away match at Aston Villa on St Stephen’s Day.

Moyes has very little money to spend in the coming transfer window and can see only a protracted fight against the drop if the situation does not change quickly.
